starting to [censored] me off

HSBC aka 1-800-395-2274 calls my house 5-10 times a day every single day. We have no ventures with them, they generally put somebody on hold when they call and after a while, I just decided to hang up when I see the # on the ID. Lately, I decided to have a little fun and stick a speaker full of Jimi Hendrix in their ears [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] No matter what though they always call back(im on the do not call list) and I have done a google search and noticed how much they harrass everyone else in the same way. Does anyone else have any issues with these people and just how the hell can they keep calling? They are beyond abusive.

im sure if you called the phone company, and let them know, they could block the # to keep it from incoming on your end..???

That may be an option, Im not sure at this point. I would say with them being a corporate company, they call from multiple phone #s within the business yet it only shows up on the ID as 800-395-2274. I would say it would be very hard to block them. I will look into it though.

once you have requested to be their do not call list if they call back you can consider it harassment....something to think about...what pisses me off is the Saturday 8am friggin calls when no one talks they just hang up. Geez at least try to talk me into giving some money for teddy bears so troopers can give them out or something.

Do you know what HSBC is?
I am on do not call list also,, and these kind of calls have almost went to NIL... occassionally one will slip thru,, and that is when i have fun,,ha

You can report their number to the Do Not Call Registry. The more times they're caught doing it the bigger the fines get.

fyi: Non-proft organizations, any company that you have dealing with, and fundraisers are exempt from the Do Not Call list.

HSBC is a banking group. I think they deal with credit cards, etc. We have nothing to do with them but still get 10 calls a day. I filed the complaint. Maybe they will get the hint.
